Description
DVD Drive for PlayStation 4 Pro (CUH-71XX/CUH-72XX) Contains the KEM-496AAA deck, and the KES-496a laser. Compatible with models beginning in CUH-71 and CUH-72, (this includes the A and B variants) The drive typically needs to be replaced in instances where the board failed, or the whole assembly is damaged and replacing individual internal components isn’t the best option The PS4 Pro drive boards are NOT paired with the motherboard like the original PS4, so no board swap is needed 🙂 Ensure that your PS4 Pro model matches up to CUH-71XX or CUH-72XX
